Trending Porta Tesori: Lidded Erbium Jar Bundle [hiqLC85I]

A beautiful hand-built porcelain lidded jar carefully glazed with my erbium glaze and featuring the Rosmarinium pattern. 

The jar measures around 7cm in diameter and is 8,5cm tall (including lid). As there are multiple available, the one you receive may vary slightly from the photo. 

All my pieces are handmade by me in my Berlin studio. They feature glazes I made and formulated.

The Rosmarinium pattern is inspired by the works of baroque Italian artist Giovanna Garzoni, to whom this entire collection is dedicated. 

Erbium is a rare earth metal. Its oxide is rarely used in ceramics because it is very expensive. However, it produces the most stunning pink: it's actually the only oxide which alone can produce pink. 

Erbium is among the heavy elements that arrived to Earth after escaping the collision between two neutron stars. We are all  made of stars and your earrings too.
