Sick Defender is a CAN-based starting circuit interrupt system.  The system is designed as a theft deterrent device that allows the vehicle owner to have two-factor authentication for their vehicle's starting circuit.

Self-install or mechanic install.  No special tools, no harness damage, and it uses native CAN messaging.  It does not damage or alter any OE systems.

The two-factor authentication is achieved through a button sequence of the owner's choosing and utilizes all available buttons on both sides of the steering wheel.  If the sequence is correct, the vehicle will start.  If the sequence is incorrect, the vehicle will not start.

Sick Defender has its own private encrypted Wi-Fi network with a website for device management and setup.  Only the Sick Defender owner can reset the device and if the owner forgets their password, the device will need to be returned to the manufacturer for reset.  There are no options to reset the device without the password.

Up to 4 button sequences are available to facilitate access for multiple drivers.  The system can easily be enabled and disabled for car washes, valet, dealer service, and other activities where the owner cannot enter the button sequence.

There is also a relay output that can be connected for an alarm to sound when the hood is opened for added protection.
