This dial indicator mount has a protective shield that will help to protect the dial indicator in case the tool is dropped. Without the shield it is very likely the dial indicator will be damaged if dropped. The dial indicator comes with a Ten Thousandths (.0001") dial indicator which is more accurate and easier to read.

Bearing Adjustment Dial Indicator Gage for Measuring End Play on Heavy or Medium duty wheel ends.
The aluminum bar is .625” thick x 8.25” long, and has multiple holes drilled for multiple applications as examples below and has a 1⁄4-20 thumb screw for easy adjustment. Tool includes extra strong 100Lb pull force magnets, spacers, and bolts.

· FF - Steer Axle – 4 1⁄2” bolt circle
· TN – Tapered Trailer Axle – 5 1⁄2” bolt circle
· TP – Straight Trailer Axle – 6 3⁄4” bolt circle
· R - Drive Axle – 7” bolt circle
