Being one from the series of magneto therapy devices, the ALMAG is an effective device to treat many common diseases at home.

The ALMAG does not have any portable analogues, based on the effect of a traveling pulsed magnetic field. A traveling pulse magnetic field (TPMF) is characterised by a high biologic activity since it is has a maximum number of bio-trophic parameters. 

It provides the highest space-time non-uniformity of this field.

It is this type of TPMF (a complicated non-uniform field with time and space alternation) that is generated by the ALMAG. The effect of magnetic field traveling in space is achieved by alternate activation the four TPFM sources.
