Introducing our latest collaboration with Matthias Kerstan from BK-Modelltechnik, a new tractor hitch featuring several impressive features. This hitch is specifically designed for models with FES motors, where the tow line cannot be used through the hull's tip due to the motor's placement. The hitch also accommodates a quick-release clip, making it ideal for alpine flying, allowing models to glide over cliff edges with ease. The hitch can be mounted at any point on the hull, giving users the flexibility to decide the optimal placement without any predefined recommendations.

Robust Construction and Versatile Design

This hitch is crafted from high-strength aluminum AW 7075, ensuring durability and reliability. The housing features a strong brass body with a robust spring and a 3.0 mm stainless steel pin. The miniaturized Bowden cable, equipped with a steel core and 1.3 mm stainless steel wire, provides smooth and precise control. The servo mount is made from black GFK, complete with a bearing for the Bowden cable, specifically designed for 20 mm standard servos. Additionally, a 4.0 mm wood board is included for bonding in the hull and mounting the servo bracket. The kit also features two wooden spacers for Bowden cable routing, a M2 bolt for direct soldering of the steel wire, M3 screws and lock nuts for servo installation, and a very low profile design for easy installation of batteries over the hitch.
