The Design of our Experience Samaritan Tartan (samaritartan) Now On Sale [lz8ABIVd]

The colours and composition of the tartan are intended to be symbolic of the brand essence which is open, warm and hopeful. It includes Samaritans main corporate colour of green, which is symbolic of positivity and hope.  The flash of orange symbolizes their ‘Brew Monday’ where they encourage everyone regardless of age and background to sit with a Brew or ‘Bru’ (A reference to Irn Bru - Scotland's second national drink) and understand the value of providing a listening space for family, friends, colleagues and loved ones. All of our tartan is woven locally with 100% British wool, and can be ordered by the metre or half metre. We can also create a bespoke Samaritartan product for you. Choose from a wide range which includes kilts, shawls, ties, cosmetic bags and more. They will be handmade in our workshop in the South of Scotland.

Designed in collaboration with the volunteers and staff of the Scottish Samaritans, this tartan was created around the mission and purposes of Samaritans.
