The WxS sneaker is a unisex sneaker from the WODENxSMUKFEST collab. The textile on the sneaker is recycled polyester and the shoe has a fish leather detail, which is originally a waste product from the Icelandic fishing industry. The backing consists of 50% recycled polyester from PET bottles. In the insole you find a base made of PU material which is both soft and shock absorbing. The insole is covered with the characteristic WODEN-cork which ensures a good climate in the shoe. The unused festival bracelets from Smukfest 2020 has been moulded into the transparent outsoles. There are approximately 7 bracelets in each pair of WxS sneakers. The outsoles have printed "smuk igen" or "beautiful again" which is linked to the main message of the collab: everything will be beautiful again. The outsoles can vary in appearance. The WxS sneakers will be delivered in a recycled canvas tote. With WODENxSMUKFEST you are taking the first (comfortable) steps towards a greener festival experience. Limited edition.
