The painting "Christ of the Coin" was painted in 1625 by Anton Van Dyck, a Belgian painter and a figure of the Flemish style. It is not exactly clear which biblical passage this work refers to. An older man shows a coin to Jesus, while he looks on with a welcoming expression. On the left appears a wooden door frame with Jesus's hand on it and his index finger pointing to the sky, a remembrance, according to experts, of Christ holding the cross. The other hand shows the sign of the Trinity. The work is currently located at the Museo di Strada Nuova, Genoa, Italy.
