DITA Audio, a Singaporean brand renowned for its expertise in dynamic units, unveils Project M, a groundbreaking addition to its lineup. Breaking new ground, Project M integrates an actuator unit, marking DITA's debut in coil-type headphones. This innovation is paired with meticulous craftsmanship, evident in the crystal-clear resin casing, which not only adds aesthetic appeal but also contributes to superior sound performance.

The PM ONE+ customized dynamic coil was developed, and the unit was housed in a stainless steel chamber to effectively reduce the resonance of the unit during operation. To further enhance the performance of the high frequencies and soundstage, Knowles' 33518 dynamic iron unit was added to enhance the brightness and extension of the high frequencies in a limited space.

New PM ONE+ customized coil with Knowles drivers

Project M is the brand's first coil-iron hybrid headphone. They used aerospace-grade FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to analyze the best dynamic coil design for the hybrid setup. The PM ONE+ coil is in a stainless steel chamber. They added Knowles' 33518 dynamic iron unit to enhance high frequencies in a limited space.

Small size, comfortable

Project M's shell is resin, made with casting and molding without air bubbles. They're small and easy to put in the ear, with Final Type-E ear gels for good sound isolation. They also come in a customized glow-in-the-dark version.

Custom Mocca Modular Cable

Keeping with DITA's tradition of custom-building cables for every earphone, Project M is equipped with the MOCCA cable that utilizes conductors made by Cardas in the USA. The MOCCA cable is constructed of 16 strands of Cardas conductors per cable, twisted to DITA's specifications and jacketed in a flexible PVC outer layer. The cable also comes equipped with DITA's APV2, future-proofing the Project M for use in the modern listener's ever-evolving rig.

Custom DITA Tanos Case

Each case comes with custom-made silicon inserts for protecting both the case and the cables during shipping and before purchase. Feel free to remove the top and bottom case linings post-purchase. Both inserts are molded to the Tanos Case, but DITA added two pieces of double-sided tape on the bottom lining for extra security which can easily be removed if desired.
