Ideal for beginner black and white film photographers, the MULTIGRADE RC Deluxe Paper and HP5 Plus Value Pack from Ilford includes a 25-sheet pack of 8 x 10" pearl-finished MULTIGRADE RC Deluxe paper and two rolls of 35mm, 36-exposure HP5 Plus black and white negative film. The paper features a textured pearl 44M surface that reduces reflections while maintaining some shine for deeper blacks and a longer tonal range. Its updated Generation V emulsion offers a more linear contrast profile, responding accurately to the full 00-5 range of Multigrade filters for precise print adjustments. With a neutral base tint, the paper works well with toning solutions and provides excellent mid-tone separation, making it suitable for printing a variety of negatives, including both conventional black and white and chromogenic films. It can be processed in trays or with machine processors using standard black and white chemistry.
