What is Rétablisse^® Sub-Skin(Ultra Deep)?

Rétablisse® Sub-Skin is a sterile, transparent, gel of stabilized hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin. Rétablisse® Sub-Skin is supplied in a glass syringe. Rétablisse® Sub-Skin is intended to be used for facial tissue augmentation. It is recommended to be used for shaping the contours of the face, e.g. more pronounced cheeks or chin. The depth of injection may vary from injection into the subcutaneous fatty tissue to supraperiostal administration depending on the treatment site. Rétablisse® Sub-Skin shall only be injected by practitioners with expertise in the correction of volume defects in the facial area. Rétablisse® Sub-Skin will in time undergo isovolemic degradation, which means that the product maintains its volume even during degradation.

How to inject/administer this product

Rétablisse® Sub-Skin is injected into the deep subcutaneous and/or supraperiostal layers using either a 21G needle or a cannula (range of 16-21G). Before treatment, Read and Understand about the expected outcome, indications, precautions, and possible adverse effects. To administer the injection, first sterilize the area of treatment with an antiseptic. If necessary, a topical or local anesthetic may be applied to enhance the comfort of the patient. Assemble the needle/cannula to the treatment syringe securely, following all instructions contained on the product leaflet. Inject the product slowly, maintaining even pressure. Immediately after injection, gently massage the treated area to allow the product to conform to the contour of the surrounding tissues.
