The QA Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) Requalifying Course is specifically designed to allow first aiders to renew their first aid at work qualification when their certificate is due to expire. During this 2 day course, candidates will have the opportunity to practise essential first aid procedures, as well as learn the latest techniques for dealing with emergency situations and managing injuries and illnesses in the workplace. What’s more, as a regulated qualification, employers can book this course for their employees and rest assured that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training, without having to undertake any lengthy due diligence checks.

On completion of the course, students will receive a qualification certificate valid for 3 years issued by My Skills for Life Ltd. We can approve these either by a relevant approved training body or one issued as a RQF. If you would like a RQF certificate please request prior to the course starting. If you do chose the RQF there may be an additional cost per delegate depending on the qualification you wish to hold, this is to cover the cost of certification. Either option meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. However, if you are unsure which you need please call the office for advice.

This course is held at our training centre in Chippenham town centre, however for groups of 6 or more our trainers can come to your place of work at no extra cost. 

*All requalifying first aiders must have previously completed a First Aid at Work course.
