This old, full colour and wonderful map shows the county of Surrey as it was in 1829. Published in Greenwood's Atlas of England & Wales and engraved by J & C Walker, this is one of the finest old county maps from the 1800s.

This map looks great at all sizes: 16x20 inches (40x50cm), 18x24 inches (45.5x61cm) and 24x36 inches (61x91.5cm), but it looks even better when printed large.

Many of the towns, villages and cities in Surrey are already visible in this map.

Brixton, Clapham, Dulwich and Camberwell are clearly visible in the top right - back then they were parts of Surrey, until they became part of the London borough of Lambeth in 1889.

In the bottom right corner is a beautiful engraving of Lambeth Palace & Church.
