Price Mistake? Blow 6 – Chapbook Signed By Charles Bukowski Deal Alert: 55% Off [9iVJEIhc]
This is a signed, first edition of Blow No. 6, which was published in Portland, Oregon, by Grey Whale Press back in 1984.
The entire chapbook is devoted to Charles Bukowski poems.
This copy is in Near Fine condition with small bumps on the top left and right of the front cover.
This was once a fairly common chapbook to find, but over the years it’s becoming increasingly hard to find.
Signed on the front cover, the chapbook runs 20 pages and features 8 Bukowski poems, plus a review for his upcoming book, Hot Water Music.
The poems include:
- With A Flagpole Over The San Pedro Harbor - 1979
- Bad Action - circa 1984
- My Critics Are Sometimes Right - 1983
- Fall Out - 1983
- Not To Worry - manuscript - 1983
- I Fall Into It Without Trying - circa 1984
- A Hot Sweaty Day In August - circa 1984
- Reject - 1979
- A Patriot Of Life – 1984
With A Flagpole Over The San Pedro Harbor and My Critics Are Sometimes Right have yet to be collected in any books.
There were very few chapbooks of Bukowski poems printed in his later years because Black Sparrow Press became increasingly strict about other people publishing his work.
