The Balmoral Plus Active Mattress from Harvest Healthcare is a high-quality pressure-reducing mattress designed for the prevention and management of pressure ulcers. 

Ideal for patients at a very high risk of developing pressure ulcers, the mattress is suitable for the treatment of up to stage 4 pressure ulcers.

It features 27 individual cells, including 23 alternating air cells and 4 static pillow section cells, all placed on a 50mm thick foam base.

These cells are made from durable PU material and are interchangeable for easy repair and cleaning.

Additionally, the mattress is designed to be compatible with any UK-manufactured profiling bed to ensure bedrail compliance.

For added convenience, the mattress comes with a transport cap that helps maintain air pressure during patient transport.

\When the transport cap is used, the mattress stays inflated for approximately 24 hours.

In case of an emergency, the system allows for rapid deflation by opening the CPR valve. 

The mattress also features a three-part static air cell mat that can be deflated in the event of cardiac arrest.

The Balmoral Plus mattress includes a 4-way stretch welded PU cover that is vapour permeable, water-resistant, and has a Crib 5 fire rating for safety.

It is compatible with Harvest Healthcare’s pumps 2, 250, and 3, and can be purchased either as a mattress alone or as a complete system with one of these pumps.

This mattress ensures comfort, protection, and enhanced care for patients at high risk of pressure ulcers.
