• K Rend R10 is a low odour, ready to use primer which is quick and easy to apply by roller or brush
• Allow K Rend R10 to dry before applying top coat
• K Rend R10 is self-coloured, to indicate areas treated for ease of use

Coverage

• Approximately 0.25 to 0.45kg/m2, depending on substrate and application technique. Higher suction backgrounds require more material and may require two coats.
• Based on 0.35kg/m2 one tub will do approximately 50m2

Preparation

• For use on masonry substrates with “difficult” suction properties i.e. dense and lightweight concrete and clay brick
• Backgrounds should be clean, level, dry and free from efflorescence and loose, friable materials
• Mask all adjacent surfaces including window sills, doors, timber, glass, brick and flooring
• Protect weather exposed surfaces

Application

• The temperature of the substrate and surrounding air should be a minimum of 5oC
• Do not apply in conditions of strong sunshine or wind; do not apply onto damp or frozen substrates
• Stir bucket contents thoroughly before use; do not add water to product
• Apply K Rend R10 by roller or brush and allow to dry before applying top coatDrying times may be prolonged by lower temperatures and/or high humidity
• High suction backgrounds (i.e. lightweight concrete) may require two coats
