For the E9* series, these mounts are specifically designed for the M3 model only. They are not compatible with 4-cylinder petrol models. When stiffening the mounts, an increase in NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness), particularly at idle, should be expected. This is due to the harder material used, which transmits more NVH. It is important to note that we do not recommend fitting these mounts to diesel-engined vehicles due to the potential for excessive NVH. The PFF5-4650 model is over 200% stiffer than the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OE) at 5mm compression, increasing to 300% with the additional 4 adjuster pins installed.
