Vintage 1930s/1940s 9ct gold locket featuring an engraved design. This small oval locket closes securely and has two areas pictures could be secured or possibly an area for a lock of hair. 

The locket is 9ct gold back and front, meaning the interior is not gold although the front and back of the piece are 9ct gold. Often lockets are made with brass interiors for strength for the moving parts. The locket hangs from a new 9ct gold chain.
