Vintage 1960s charm necklace featuring a 9ct gold music box with a tiny enamel monkey holding a little pot for money. The wheels and monkey move up and down. 

The Organ Grinder's Monkey is someone who is closely associated with a powerful person and acts on their behalf, but has no real power themselves. "Why bother with monkeys when you can deal with the organ grinder?
