During the Victorian era, young Victorian women would hide a picture of a man they admired, if the man offered up a lock of hair a marriage proposal usually would follow. Our vintage 1970s pendant features a solid 9ct gold locket which opens to reveal two areas pictures can be placed. The locket has a number of marks indicating the piece was hallmarked in Birmingham, England and it is set in 9ct gold.
