Antique Edwardian 9ct rose gold ring, featuring beautiful gypsy set rubies and a seed pearls. This beautiful setting is a classic Edwardian style. The ring has a number of hallmarks indicating the piece is 9ct gold, hallmarked in Cheshire in 1906 indicated by the letter 'g'.

Ruby is the birthstone for July, it is the colour of love, anger, passion and fury. It was believed those who wore rubies were bestowed good fortune, throughout history rubies were worn by emperors and kings. Still to this day we value the gemstone just as highly. The ruby is considered one of the four most precious gemstones in the world alongside Sapphire, Emerald and Diamond.

Excellent, at some point in its life the piece has been resized as indicated by a small mark on outside of the back of the band.
