The Rain Bloc compact 300 soakaway crate is engineered to be used in both infiltration and attenuation systems. With its capacity of up to 60 tonnes, these heavy load crates, can be used under parking lots, driveways, and other areas with frequent heavy vehicle traffic, providing versatile and reliable stormwater management solutions. During intense rainfall, the StormCrates collect water in the void created, gradually releasing it into the drainage network or groundwater table over an extended duration. This progressive drainage approach helps to relieve pressure on standard surface water drainage systems, aligning seamlessly with the Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) initiative endorsed by the Environmental Agency.

The Rain Bloc can be installed in rows or block form and stackable up to 10 crates high. Crates should be installed to a maximum installation depth of 5 metres (with never more than 3 metres of top cover).

With its high void ration, it allows for greater water retention and effective management, reducing the risk of overflow and flooding during heavy rainfall, thereby safeguarding properties and infrastructure.
