Taking inspiration from traditional Asian arts and culture, the Ukrainian designer Kateryna Sokolova created the geometric and seemingly weightless Forestier Gravity 2 Pendant Light. Its painted iron metal framework involves a series of stacked discs that gradually change in shape to create a layered shade around its central lamping. An LED light source beams down from a slender socket, casting its light downward over and throughout the frame. A solid cone rests at the center of the piece, funneling light and adding striking visual depth.
