Designed by Ray Power, Swirl is an accomplished pendant, its form thoughtfully considered and sculptured. Power’s designs are typically based on geometry and his predilection for creating three-dimensional forms from flat materials (wood veneer). Swirl is no exception, its precise contours brought to life in stereo.

The Swirl Pendant light from LZF is especially unique not just due to the material it uses, but how it uses it, thinly cut wood that is flexible and bent to a shape that seemingly defies physics and looks like a 4D object. The wood veneer on this pendant light from LZF is also so thin that it lets light through it, which diffuses it and alters it's color depending on the color of the wood itself.
