Material upholstery
The seat of the Boran bar stool is made of recycled leather, also known as eco-leather. The type of leather is buffalo leather. It is a combination of leather (70%) that is leftover from leather productions and is combined with polyester (30%). This creates a new material: recycled leather or eco-leather. Because both materials are mixed during production, it is possible to apply a custom print on the material. This gives the recycled leather a very rugged appearance. For this upholstery, a complete vintage look has been chosen, making it seem as if the material has been in use for some time. The advantage of recycled leather is that it is much easier to maintain than full leather.
