The most reliable waterproof electrical flash connector available, trusted by professional underwater photographers worldwide for over 30 years. Hard anodized aluminium body with gold plated connectors. 

In 2025, Ikelite updated to a new style connector which has the following advantages:

• Slimmer and more flexible cabling makes it easier to route the hotshoe cable around other accessories like a USB-C charging cable or HDMI monitor cable.
• Flat-type connector terminations reduce the likelihood of accidental wire breakage.
• Low profile design provides more clearance between the top of the hotshoe and the inside of the housing.
• Non-locking safety connector allows the connector to release if cable is strained instead of stressing or breaking wires.
• Auto-Switching feature for Canon, Nikon, Olympus, OM System, and Panasonic cameras means you don't have to change hotshoes when you add a compatible TTL converter. Not available for Sony cameras.

All housings shipped from Ikelite on or after January 1, 2025 (serial number 81200 and higher) feature the new system. 

Legacy housings below serial number 81200 can be upgraded using these kits. It is important to choose the correct kit depending on camera manufacturer and direction of the hotshoe cable (Nikon). Use the Hotshoe Reference Chart to select the correct kit for your Nikon camera.

Clear housings and older Ikelite housings featuring a right-angle bulkhead on the back of the housing are not compatible with these products. If you have non-working electronics, please contact Ikelite for upgrade opportunities.
