The Lighthouse is our flagship sauna, drawing inspiration from the fishing shacks and wharf buildings found along the coast of the Northeast and Scandinavia alike. Designed intentionally from materials with a rich history of longevity, the Lighthouse won’t just last for decades in any environment, it will get better with age. Featuring expansive, surrounding glass windows, we designed this sauna to provide a truly immersive experience. The Lighthouse comes standard clad in Weathered Grey Cedar, treated with a lifetime protectant from ORCA, immediately providing the beautiful, silvered patina found on the very same coastal buildings that provided inspiration for the Lighthouse.
This sauna seats 4-6 people comfortably, providing views in all directions. The interior features a HUUM HIVE 11kW electric heating element, and is supported by ROCKWOOL insulation with a vapor barrier. Ventilation is achieved passively from the floor, with airflow exiting through a sliding vent under the top bench. From start to finish, the Lighthouse provides an exceptional sauna experience.

A salvaged brass maritime exterior light provides a subtle statement piece on the porch exterior. Additional antique brass fixtures help to properly tie together our vision for blending the centuries old practice of sauna with the maritime heritage of the Northeast. Just like the enduring structures found in these landscapes, we envision the Lighthouse aging timelessly in the decades ahead, wherever you place it.
