The Hikobike NZPulse Plus is a 36V Torque Sensor step-through – a step-through bike with the specification of a sports MTB. It features the highly regarded 36V 250W Bafang hub drive motor and an LG 36V (500Wh) battery, paired with the torque sensor specified for the Enduro and Scout. The NZPulse Plus delivers MTB sports performance and riding style on the comfort of a step-through.

Torque sensor systems put less strain on the bike’s electrical system so producing less heat. This means that the bike is able to keep going and going on long uphill rides.

The bike’s KENDA puncture resistant tyres are designed for potholed roads, as well as gravel bike trails, giving you the ultimate peace of mind that your ebike is hardy enough to stand up to all conditions. The Suntour Nex front suspension forks and suspension seat post provides a smooth ride, and the memory foam seat adds that extra comfort.

For convenience and security, the battery is fully removable and can be charged on or off the frame. As an approximate guide, the NZPulse Plus can ride 40 – 60 miles on a full battery*.

The bike comes with LED lights (front & rear) and an additional brake light operated through the Tektro brake levers, helping you feel safe on the road at any time of day. Combined with the Hikobike pannier, the rear rack is ideal for carrying shopping or supplies and the thumb throttle (7kph start assist) gives you that helping hand on the odd occasion that you want to push your bike.

The bike’s full aluminium mud guards help keep your clothes clean, and the kick stand is a handy extra.
