A slow retention function is built into the manual screens. This makes the screen retract slowly, and controlled retract into the cassette. This prolong the lifetime of the projection screen and makes the manual screen usable in more public environemnts where multiple users handle the screen every day. The front layer optimises contrast and reflectivity while a black PVC backing prevents light leakage and helps retain a uniformly flat projection surface.
