The exhibition featured the works of George Ohr (1857-1918) was an American ceramicist who was self-proclaimed as the "Mad Potter of Biloxi". Ohr fashioned himself as an eccentric artist who unabashedly made ceramic vessels and glazes that were arguably far ahead of his time. Ohr claimed to have made over 20,000 ceramic artworks in his lifetime. The Ohr-O'Keeffe Museum of Art currently has a permanent collection of many of Ohr's ceramics.
