Corpse Bride was a 2005 classic stop-motion animated musical fantasy film, nominated for a Best Animated Feature Academy Award. It was directed by Tim Burton (“Edward Scissorhands,” “The Nightmare Before Xmas”). Corpse Bride combines the medium of puppetry and stop-animation photography. Each puppet is comprised of internal gears which give them on-camera mobility. The film took 6 years to complete.
