Wendell Washer was one of the amazing animators who spent his life creating the shows and features we loved as children, working for Walt Disney, Warner Brothers, Filmation, Marvel and more. We were fortunate enough to acquire a large portion of the animation material from his estate. 

Some of the most interesting material from his estate was proposal material for various Disney properties...some of which went into production and some did not. We found several Pocahontas and Pocahontas sequel/TV show proposal pieces of which this is a gorgeous example!

It is of course for "Young Pocahontas." We don't know if this was for a Disney TV show or a feature film, but it is clearly a finished product and GORGEOUS! Done in graphite, it measures approximately 11" x 17". It is absolutely unique!
