Animated cartoons and features used to be created by hand - each and every frame.  And most of this artwork was simple meant to be used and thrown away - so much of it is quite rare - and all of it is unique!  Buying animation art allows you to own a one-of-a-kind piece of art.  Some were used in earlier stages of production and some can be seen on-screen!

Aladdin was part of the Disney Renaissance, with the feature releasing in 1992. Disney released a sequel, “The Return of Jafar” direct to video in 1994 and this is from that movie! The TV show that ran from 1994-1995 takes place right after the events that happen in this movie. This is a rare cel and drawings - in that they have the main characters listed above! The cel has been placed on a color print background. Both the cel and the drawing have the Walt Disney seal and, under the matting, each measure approximately 9" x 10.5".

This is still in its original frame as prepared for sale at the Walt Disney stores. These frames are older, so there's a possibility the plastic frame coverings may begin to lift, as they did in some of the others from this lot we have.

Frame measures approximately 42" x 17" with apertures of 8" x 9 3/4". Framed with plexiglass. COA has some wear from being in the sleeve for decades. Frame/plexi may have minor wear. Please ignore the reflections in the plexi. Backing paper has some areas where it was punctured - does not affect the art, only backing paper.
