"These fonts arrive to us with a female 5/8" thread to screw in a 5/8" male threaded tap shank.

If you are supplying your own tap, it may have a 1/2" shank. If so, you will need to remove the stainless pipes inside this item, and run fresh 5/16" beer line, and  you will require a 5/8" - 1/2" font thread adaptor for each tap mounting.
