This range of Manual PH units offers customers options for PH correction of the water supply but do not need or have space for the larger Auto backwashing systems, The Clack 1190 FP in/out head allows the topping up of PH media without the need to completely disconnect and remove the head in order to get access to the media vessel

The vessel and head options are supplied empty and you add in your choice of media. Our normal recommendation is to select Juraperle as this is an all round PH media that suits most supplies, however, please seek our advice if you are not sure.

Water with a pH below 7 is acidic and corrosive. Raising the pH will neutralise the water, removing the metallic taste and pipe corrosion, and can also reduce any iron or manganese contamination. The backwashing head has the advantage of remixing the media and removing any debris or iron/manganese.
