The KD-6 GRP Floor Standing Enclosure is manufactured with an aesthetically pleasing 4 way pitched roof. Kingsley Plastics Enclosures have a 25 year plus life expectancy and a 12 months build warranty.

This Kingsley Plastics KD-6 GRP Roadside Enclosure is the perfect solution for protecting your electric meter or any electrical equipment. Made from strong GRP, it offers reliable and long-lasting protection for your meter or other electrical equipment. 

They are commonly used by Gas, Water and Electricity providers and local authorities along with the mechanical services industry and many others.

IP65 Compliant (if fitted with 3 point locking mechanism) and made with Class 2 fire resistant resin (30 minute resistance).

Kingsley Plastics GRP housings are hand made in England and manufactured from the highest quality GRP materials to withstand the rigours of the harshest weather conditions.

External colour is Moss Green (RAL6005) as standard, other colours are available as special order.  All enclosures have a tough weather resistant polyester gel coat outer and 4 way pitched roof for rainwater run off, reinforced with a GRP laminate.

Internal finish is a durable polyester gel coat finish in white with a 18mm ply back wall to fit equipment (around 30mm smaller than back wall). The GRP has an open floor with a 100-150mm flange which can be used to bolt down the enclosure.
