The Dolly Boater has a very short crown sitting on an almost 4" brim.  The hat is very stiff and won't bend in the wind.  This sinamay straw is in off white with rainbow lurex threads woven through out.  It was complicated to find the right trim that wouldn't take away from the uniqueness of the straw.  I settled on two ivory, handmade, feather peonies and a metallic gold lambskin band.  The hat attaches to the head with a discreet elastic band that goes under your hair, behind the head.  Fits most headsizes.
