Carlo Contin designed the Satellite Bowl in 1999 for the New York Museum of Modern Art (MoMa). It is a tribute to the Sciangai Clothes Rack by De Pas, D'Urbino, Lomazzi which also uses the principle of apart-falling self-stabilizing rods.
