In short, “marriage” is the rearrangement of a pocket watch into a modern wrist watch case. Here’s some kind of latent connection with marriage and the coincidence of packs. After all, a modern case should eventually merge into one with the inner filling of an old watch, and this is only possible if their "pack" is complete. Only under these conditions old watches seem to geta new birth, and that's why they are called “Marriage watches”!

The watch actually works and keeps time. You can adjust the time by pulling up the knob and turning it.
It is all mechanical and has no battery.
