Rediscovering an old batch of matte white glaze while trying to sort out how to finish these cups was a delightful moment in the studio. Underneath the luscious surface lay stripes of black slip that have created incredibly subtle ridges between the lines and white glaze. The stripes come through to the surface with grey, black, and subtle green tones.

You’re going to want to hold this cup with two hands and It’s going to feel like you’re hugging your morning coffee.
