The Top-quality Pure Press Plate - Why Pay More? [GKBo16VD] is a one-piece hardened 17-4ph stainless steel press plate buffed to a mirror polish. The hardened material is so tough it should never bend or deform (well maybe a tiny bit). It is built to stand up to the rigors of hydraulic pressing. After casting, the top surface is mirror polished to allow for easy cleaning. This also allows you to use its mirror function to see the upper anvil in reflection and make cleaning the juicer easier. The guide fork is cast in so there are no nooks and crannies or screw holes to catch food residue. The underside is deeply ribbed for maximum strength. 

Note1 - Early & Late Style, if you already have a press plate and are ordering a spare you will need your serial # to determine if you have an early or late style press plate. PURE uses an alphanumeric serial # system juicers up to:
AH06 are early style, if the S/N is AFxx, AGxx or up to AH06, this is early style
AH07 on are late style, if the S/N is AH08, AIxx, BAxx, this is late style
