DESCRIPTION

Vintage 100% wool Glengarry cap and badges. Commonly known as a Scottish Piper cap this original cap was made in Scotland by Alpine House. The bonnet is knitted in wool and then milled to give the high quality felted effect. The left side of the Glengarry hat features a hessian backed grosgrain rosette, to which one of our clan cap badges can be affixed, grosgrain ribbon tails, grosgrain trim and the classic red toorie (pom-pom or bobble) adorning the top. It contains 28 pins which are mainly enamel and curling related. They range in dates from the 1950's to the late 1960's. Please note that this set will not be broken up and must be purchased with all the pins so please do not ask.
