Antique oil on wood painting. Vintage blue background portrait painting of of a young man smartly dressed in a suit and dicky bow. Delicate brush strokes are used with great skill to depict this young mans striking features. The wooden board was originally used as a bread board which is typical of the period but then transformed into a painting surface. A great piece of fine art on a primitive surface.

CONDITION

This painting is in nice condition. There are some small chips to the paintwork and there is also cracking to the wood particularly the top right hand side and some warping to the board (please see all photographs as they form part of the listing description).
