Spring Sale Vintage Lion Of Lucerne Bookends Economy Pack [nOcq1JEY]

A lovely pair of vintage Lion of Lucerne cast metal bookends. The bookends are replicas of the "Lion Monument," in Lucerne, Switzerland, that commemorates the Swiss Guards who were massacred in 1792 during the French Revolution. Engraved on the front of each bookend is "Helvetiorum Fidei ac Virtuti," which translates "To the Loyalty and Bravery of the Swiss."

Each bookend measures 7.5" x 4" x 1 3/4" and are in very good vintage condition with minor surface rusting.
