Product Story:
This whiskey is all about legacy. Crafted by R6 Distillery and bottled by Badwater Brands, it combines the innovation of a modern craft distillery with a retro label that harks back to the days of private club single barrels. Located in El Segundo, CA, just 1.5 miles from the Pacific Ocean, R6 Distillery made the first legal bourbon in Los Angeles since Prohibition, opening a decade ago. They embody everything you want in a craft distillery, utilizing 16 adventurous mashbills and paying attention to all components that contribute to flavor.
Founder and Distiller Rob Rubens named the brand in honor of his father and uncles and quickly established R6 as a leader in California's whiskey scene. This rye, Cask #100, is a “showstopper,” featuring 77% rye complemented by pink and blue corn—creativity in a bottle. Bottled by industry veteran Seth Benhaim of Badwater Brands, the Stock Exchange Club of Los Angeles label revives a 1960s brand, a time when private establishments had custom labels for their barrel picks.
This whiskey isn't available to the general public, making it a rare gem. It perfectly encapsulates the creativity and dedication of its producers, offering unique flavors that stand out from standard offerings. We're honored to present Rye Cask #100, a whiskey that truly embodies innovation and legacy.
