CARROT, NOT STICK by The Ellenbogens (2024, Giclée Print and Acrylic on Canvas; 36" x 36"; unique, 1-of-a-kind). It is part of the Eg.Collaboration series between husband and wife artist team Carolina and Michael Ellenbogen. This particular piece brings together Michael's "Color Field Photography" seris and Carolina's WHEN THE LIGHT BREAKS INTO PIECES series.
Michael took the photograph in 2008 in the early morning hours on the grounds of the Vermont Summer Festival. What looks to some like a man viewing content on a mobile device is actually a stableman lifting a carrot from a pail towards an unseen horse, awaiting breakfast. This artwork is custom framed.

Photograph is gallery wrapped on wood stretcher and custom framed.
Hand-painted by Carolina Ellenbogen.
Artwork will be signed on the front and on verso.
