Beautiful and delicate vintage French silver plated bow brooch signed Georges Legros. Part of the bow is decorated with shiny marcasite. 

The "GL" mark at the back is the signature of Georges Legros who started his company in 1917. The company is specialized in gold filled, gold plated and silver jewelry.

I believe this brooch to be from the 1930's, possibly earlier as similar ones are listed as antique.

It is in very good vintage condition except for the silver plating which is slightly used at the back on the pin stem as the picture shows. 

I left it as is without cleaning it to keep the patina, you may choose to use a silver cloth to remove any tarnish.
