Outstanding and hand-created, this one of a kind Sevan Bicakci ring is a wearable masterpiece. The dove in flight is displaying its beautiful lavender wings, and frozen in time inside this faceted moonstone gem capsule. Splendidly envisioned and meticulously painted with the finest brush strokes, the three dimensional winged bird, has been made by intaglio cutting - a procedure utilizing reverse cutting from the underside of the stone. The dove is encased in the stone, which is surrounded by sparkling diamonds, and pear shaped pink sapphires. Doves represent peace, life, and freedom, which are symbolic to Sevan and portray the freedom of expression in his work. The oxidized sterling silver ring incorporates cognac and fancy colored diamonds, and pink sapphires. The ring is inlaid with polished 24 karat gold. Each piece is signed, dated, and finished inside the gallery.
