Another five stone diamond band, this one crafted in white gold and totaling around .85 carat. I try to acquire as many as I can because they are so versatile and wearable that they are always very popular.

Antique ring in ornate white gold with scrolled gallery. The ring face has a nice diamond encrusted look with eight additional tiny rose cut gemset prongs / diamond spacers at the corners between the larger stones. It adds extra texture and sparkle when the metal work is so covered with diamonds.

This one is a great stacker with an almost boat shaped face, with the five stones propped up a bit instead of closely hugging the finger, so it layers well with bands especially.

Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.

HALLMARKS:
Found in Switzerland, it has an old 750 stamp inside, which is the numerical hallmarking system used in Europe for 18k gold.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size 6. It weighs 2.9 grams.
The center diamond is 4.1mm and the others are 3mm give or take, all with high chunky crowns. The rose cut spacers are about 1.5mm.

Exact carat weight is unknown as I would not remove the stones from the antique setting but estimated total weight of around 0.85 carat.

Stands 4.5mm off the finger, 6.8mm north to south and 19.5mm east west for all five diamonds.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. Typical antique diamonds that have some faint natural inclusions, a small crystal or speck here or there, only slightly eye visible and nothing glaring. No dark carbon spots. A slight warmth also typical for antique diamonds that were mostly cut from mines at the time producing warmer stones. The rose cuts are small rough cuts, imperfect and irregular, they always look this way when they are this age.

Shank is sturdy but with evidence of a sizing. Original antique condition with expected wear to the prongs but none of the stones move. Just something to keep an eye on over time and handle a bit more gently considering age.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
