This is a museum quality vintage Zuni inlaid silver kachina bracelet handmade by the famous artist Eldred Martinez. Eldred Martinez is known for her impeccable workmanship with stone and shell placement into inlay as well as the carvings she does into the stones and shells. The way the carvings consist of x patterns as well as line segments is just so incredible. Bordering the inlaid kachina are wonderful silver shells that are flattened. I love that the kachina wraps all the way down one end of the cuff. This bracelet contains a double silver shank cuff. The inlay consists of pink mother of pearl, lapis, onyx, yellow shell, coral, and Sleeping Beauty turquoise. The width of the bracelet measures around 1-1/2". Signed by Zuni artist, Eldred Martinez . Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. The inside end to end measures around 5-1/4" with an additional 1-1/2" gap. Sturdy 32 grams.
